Coaching Institute Initial summer professional development for teachers to introduce them to the coaching experience.
SVMI Professional Development Meetings Monthly professional development for coaches and teams of teachers, including training on findings from the MARS performance assessments.
Math Network Meetings Professional development for math coaches on math content, teaching strategies, and learning theory.
General MAC Meetings Meetings of district administrators and math coaches to review the MARS performance assessment, discuss administrative policies, and review preliminary results of the assessment.
Lesson Study Teams of teachers collaborate with a math coach to research, plan, teach and/or observe, and analyze mathematics lessons.
Leadership Institute Intensive training in math content and pedagogy for coaches and emerging district leaders during the spring and summer.
MAC Related Events Training for new scorers, scoring leaders, and coaches on the MARS performance assessment.
